Aniston, Theroux Rent 40k Dollars-a-Month Beverly Hills House
    Posted on May 14th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , News   •   0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston and her partner Justin Theroux have rented a 40,000 dollars-a-month Beverly Hills mansion while their 21-million-dollar estate is refurbished.

Their new mansion is an 8,500 square foot, 21-million-dollar palatial palace complete with a vineyard and views of the Pacific Ocean, the Daily Mail reported.

But in the meantime they have to settle for five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms in a somewhat smaller space.

The Hal Levitt-designed exteriors have been masterfully updated as part of a meticulous renovation.

This home also has the modern convenience of RTI Smart Home technology and state of the art home theatre/entertainment system, which blends with the highest quality craftsmanship and materials.

The Patrick Blanc living wall entices as you walk across the honed basalt entry, suspended above cascading water features, to approach the impressive hand-carved front door.

The interiors and exteriors offer the best of California living: ocean and city views, entertainer-friendly layout with Lynx outdoor cooking area, zero-edge pool with 18 feet deep lounge area and spa.

Rooms include stone-lined temperature controlled wine cellar; bar with custom cabinetry, walnut shelving and LED glass lighting installation.

The Bulthaup kitchen has stunning Monobloc stainless steel island, floating appliance cubes, warm bronze and striped walnut cabinetry, and appliances by Miele and Leibherr.

The master suite has custom walnut closets and is complete with his and hers baths featuring book-matched Calcutta Borghini marble, Ann Sacks tiles, heated flooring, steam shower, and private outdoor shower.

Jennifer Aniston and Dennis Quaid’s Untitled Elmore Leonard Adaptation Heads to Market
    Posted on May 14th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , News , The Switch - 2012   •   0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston and Dennis Quaid are set to star in a film adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s novel The Switch that Hyde Park International will be offering to buyers at the Cannes Film Market.

Daniel Schechter, whose film Supporting Characters just played the Tribeca Film Festival, has written the adaptation and will direct the currently untitled project. (The film is not related to the 2010 Aniston vehicle also titled The Switch.) Also set to star are Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), John Hawkes and Ty Burrell.

Aniston will play a naive housewife, whose husband (Quaid) has embezzled millions of dollars. Hawkes and Bey will appear as criminals who kidnap Aniston’s character and hold her for ransom only to discover that her husband doesn’t want her back.

Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman will produce for the Gotham Group alongside Michael Siegel. James Garavente, Leonard, Aniston and Aleen Keshishian will serve as executive producers.

The project is one of several titles that Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park will offer in Cannes. Others include Midnight Sun, from director Hugh Hudson; Adult World, starring Emma Roberts, Evan Peters and John Cusack; and Sunlight Jr., starring Naomi Watts, Matt Dillon and Norman Reedus.

“Friends” Reunion? Never Going to Happen, Says Lisa Kudrow
    Posted on May 8th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , Friends , News   •   0 Comments

It was just last week that Matt LeBlanc said that we should give up our hopes of Friends reunion.

And Lisa Kudrow is now seconding that…

“I don’t think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not,” Kudrow told us Friday night at the P.S. Arts event for the Los Angeles Modernism Show.

    Why?

“I don’t think any of us would do it unless [Friends cocreators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it and I don’t know how they could do it,” Kudrow said.

However, Kudrow does imagine a Friends movie happening—but it wouln’t be a reunion.

“Like the Brady Bunch [movie] was hilarious because it was a spoof,” she said. “I can’t wait from 10, 20 years from now to see the younger actors. I think that will be really fun.”

LeBlanc reportedly told Digital Spy that he doesn’t think a reunion is a good idea.

“That probably won’t happen,” he said. “There’s no plans for anything like that. Everyone seems to be talking about that these days, but nope, no irons in the fire there.”

LeBlanc also said, “Everyone identifies with those characters in their own way and everyone in their own mind imagines what has become of those characters. I just think it’s best to leave it at that.”

Warren Littlefield Talks Jennifer Aniston’s Journey To ‘Friends’
    Posted on May 3rd, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , Friends , News   •   0 Comments

Warren Littlefield, NBC’s former president of entertainment who’s brought us small-screen gems like “Seinfeld,” “Friends” and “Frasier,” remembers taking a huge gamble on Jennifer Aniston and convincing Debra Messing to do “Will and Grace.”

“[It's] 10:30 p.m. at night on Sunset Boulevard,” Littlefield tells me on the set of “New York Live.” “I’m at the Chevron station gassing up and Jennifer is over at the other island and she comes over and she says, ‘Is it ever going to happen?’ and I say, ‘We believe in you, I love you, I so believe in your talent, I’m sure it will.’ A few months later, we handed her the ‘Friends’ script.”

But it wasn’t quite so simple. Littlefield said that at the time, Aniston was under contract for a CBS series, “Muddling Through.” But NBC went ahead with Aniston — a move that could have “cost us millions of dollars to reshoot.” Soon CBS yanked the flailing show, allowing Aniston to officially move forward with “Friends.”

It’s not just Aniston’s career on which Warren had a direct impact. He recalls having to beg Debra Messing to take the role of Grace Adler on the hit “Will & Grace.”

“We were on our knees,” Littlefield remembers. “She was reluctant. She had just come off an hour-series called ‘Pray.’ She was tired. She was a little exhausted and we said, ‘Debra read it.’ And we wined her and dined her and begged her, and ultimately Debra said, ‘How do I say no?’”

Warren believes that due to the prevalence of DVRs, one network dominating one night for one decade of must-see TV will never happen again, but thinks that if NBC can find its “Modern Family,” the network could once again reign supreme.

John Mayer’s Song “Shadow Days” Is “Farewell Letter” to Jennifer Aniston
    Posted on Apr 30th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , News   •   0 Comments

John Mayer is finally ready to let go of Jennifer Aniston — in song.

Although they split nearly three years ago, the 34-year-old singer (whose exes also include Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt) penned his single “Shadow Days” (from the album Born and Raised) with Aniston, 43, in mind.

“Shadow Days is about Jen,” a source tells Us Weekly. “It really took him a long time to get over her. He really loved her a lot.”

Sings Mayer in the song: “”You find yourself alone. . . I found myself in pieces/ On my hotel floor/Hard times help me see/I’m a good man with a good heart/Had a tough time, got a rough start/And I finally learned to let it go.”

Explains the source: “He wrote the song as a farewell letter knowing [Jen] would hear it. Ultimately he’s done a lot of self reflection though and it he realizes they weren’t right for each other.”

The rocker and the Horrible Bosses actress first got together in April 2008 and, after multiple breakups, called it quits for good in late 2009. Aniston has been happily ensconced with Justin Theroux for over a year now.

“[John and Jen] weren’t right for each other, but he is really a good guy.”

After high-profile flameouts both Simpson, 31, and then Aniston, Mayer is done dating celebs, the source adds. “He’s looking for a nice, non famous girl he can relate to. . . He loved [Jen and Jessica] both but it really affected him emotionally and it wasn’t worth it.”

Jennifer Aniston Covers “Marie Claire Australia” – May 2012
    Posted on Apr 13th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , Gallery Updates , Magazines , News   •   0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston looks lovely on the cover of Marie Claire Australia‘s May 2012 issue.

Here is what the 43-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On her boyfriend Justin Theroux: “He’s a protector, for sure. He’s just a good human being, and so funny.”

On being secluded while filming Wanderlust: “All of a sudden I began decompressing. It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group. There were no paparazzi and no secret, tricky little cell phone pictures being taken. I realized how paranoid and guarded and not trusting – walled-in – I had become. Not consciously so, but just this armor that I kind of have, protective armor. It’s not for my friends or family, but for being outside in the world, always on guard.”

On shooting a topless scene for the film: “There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists – because there’s a nudist colony in Clarkesville – and how comfortable they are being nude.”

FYI: Wanderlust will be released in Australia on April 25!

Jennifer Aniston: Justin Theroux Is My “Protector”
    Posted on Apr 13th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , News   •   0 Comments

It’s been nearly a year since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux went public with their romance.

And now that the Wanderlust costars are living together in a Hollywood Hills rental — and prepping to move into a massive, $21 million home in Bel Air currently being renovated — Aniston, 43, continues to open up about why Theroux, 40, is a keeper.

“He’s a protector, for sure,” Aniston tells the May issue of Marie Claire Australia (excerpted in Just Jared) of actor and screenwriter Theroux. “He’s just a good human being, and so funny.”

As reported by Us Weekly last year, Aniston and Theroux first fell in love while making Wanderlust in rural Georgia in fall 2010; at the time, Theroux still had a long-time live-in girlfriend, Heidi Bivens.

Aniston told Marie Claire Australia said she “began decompressing” during the secluded shoot. “It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group.”

The stunning star famously shot a topless scene for the raunchy comedy, which was a box office and critical bomb in the U.S. earlier this year.

“There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that,” she admitted. “But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately.”

Jennifer Aniston in Talks to Play a Hooker: Good Girl No More?
    Posted on Apr 13th, 2012   •   By Eric   •   Articles , News , We're the Millers   •   0 Comments

Jennifer Aniston stepped out of her comfort zone in 2011 and made every male’s dream come true by playing a sex-crazed dentist in the comedy hit Horrible Bosses. It was a side of the actress the world had never seen before, but we were more than ready to embrace it. Seriously, cavities never looked so sexy. But Aniston’s drastic character transformation is about to reach new heights now that she’s in talks to take on one of the raunchiest roles of her career: a hooker.

According to Deadline, the 43-year-old star is in negotiations to star alongside her Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Sudeikis, in the upcoming comedy We’re the Millers. Sudeikis, 36, would play a drug dealer who creates a faux family in order to smuggle 1,400 pounds of marijuana from Mexico into the U.S., and Aniston would be his fake wife – who just happens to also be a hooker. (Hey, you gotta pay the bills somehow.)

This raunchy comedy was written by Wedding Crashers’ Bob Fisher and Steve Faber, while Dodgeball’s Rawson Marshall Thurber is attached to direct.

Up until recently, Aniston has staked a claim as America’s Sweetheart, starting all the way back from her Rachel Green days on the NBC sitcom Friends. But now that she’s reached a certain age, the actress has grown very comfortable in her own skin and even admitted during the Horrible Bosses press junket back in June 2011, that it was this confidence that made her want to take on such bold new roles in the first place.

“”I absolutely get more comfortable in my body and with who I am as I get older,”" Aniston confessed. “”Way more than when I was in my twenties. I was so awkward and uncomfortable.”"

This was demonstrated even further after she decided to bare all (quite literally) by going topless in a hippie-tastic protest to stop a bulldozer in the film Wanderlust. And now that there’s potential “”hooking”" in her on-screen future, there’s no telling what other racy roles this sexy star will be looking to take on in years to come. America’s favorite good girl is finally getting in touch with her dark side – and we kind of love her for it.
